ProSidian Seeks a Subject Matter Expert | Nuclear Energy Subject Matter Expert (SME) [DNE013] Engagement Team | Subject Matter Expert I Labor Category - HIGH LEVEL Non-Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541611 located at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) - Livermore, California. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 position. ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position. Seeking candidates with relevant Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagements for Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. Primary activities support a branch of the DOE responsible for overseeing nuclear-related activities, focusing on managing and supporting operations related to nuclear energy, research, and environmental management. Position aligns with requirements for TBD Nuclear Energy SME Services and supports the client industry sector: Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment (EIE); across the West Region, with engagement at LLNL and DOE stakeholders. Job overview Provide services and support as a Nuclear Energy SME in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on engineering solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE | NE), Idaho Operations Office, Office of Nuclear Energy located at LLNL in Livermore, California and across the West Region. Responsibilities and Duties Seeking a highly qualified Nuclear Energy SME to represent the Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy (DOE/NE) regarding the AC-100M Centrifuge Development and Licensing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in nuclear energy technologies, specifically in the development, demonstration, and operations of the AC-100M centrifuge. Primary responsibilities include providing independent technical reviews in areas such as centrifuge design, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance, and Balance of Plant support systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent technical reviews in centrifuge design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance. Provide expertise in Balance of Plant support systems and deployment. Collaborate with DOE to assess reports and presentations related to centrifuge development and licensing. Support DOE in evaluating enrichment capability deployment projects. Ensure compliance with program schedules, cost containment, and performance metrics. Assist in hiring and retention of key personnel for project execution. Mitigate risks associated with project implementation. Provide services under a performance-based service acquisition contract. Core Support Functions: Provide support through steady state operations with emphasis on cascade performance, maintenance, and parts replacement (as needed). Perform functional assessments of Centrus’ compliance to regulatory criteria of the Lessee Requirements Document in lease agreements with the DOE. Perform independent evaluations, readiness reviews, assessments, walk-downs, and field inspections at Centrus facilities (Piketon, OH). Support coordination of regulatory boundary activities with co-located DOE contractors, DOE site personnel, and the NRC when appropriate. Coordinate interfaces with DOE entities, Lease activities, and other DOE contractors for liaison activities with Centrus and NRC. Develop analyses, technical assessments, and white papers to support decisions by DOE/NE management at DOE HQ. Review and analyze reports, assessments, and cost analyses related to uranium enrichment technologies. Analyze DOE requirements involving MOAs and MOUs as they relate to DOE lessees, contractors, and NRC activities related to ACP Facilities. Analyze security/facility access programs, regulatory readiness reviews, assessments, walk-downs, and field inspections. Address NE-HQ requests related to Centrus facilities in Oak Ridge, TN; Bethesda, MD; and Piketon, OH. Provide SME, project management, engineering, and technical assistance to NEHQ for planning, execution, and deployment of domestic uranium enrichment capability and capacity for commercial power reactors, research reactors, and defense needs, including the HALEU Demonstration and Operations Program. Provide input on special technical topics/issues as defined and negotiated; support for formal cost estimates. Attend and review reports and presentations prepared by Centrus on centrifuge deployment and operation status. Qualifications

Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with DOE regulations related to nuclear energy projects.
