Essential Job Functions Develops and promotes alumni programs aimed at generating and retaining interest and connection, while upholding the traditions that support the university
Supports the strategic development and execution of alumni events by managing communication strategies, organizing event logistics, coordinating volunteers, and disseminating university standards for events
Manages specialized alumni programs, including the alumni portal, developing a communication outreach plan, collaborating across departments to provide resources, and building a mentoring program to engage and strengthen student and alumni connections
Directs and organizes alumni events, including affinity-based reunions and special fundraising initiatives, in collaboration with committee members to develop, plan, market, and provide logistical support
Works closely with designated alumni committees, preparing detailed meeting agendas, reports, and supporting materials
Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budget
Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree
Moderate amount of experience working in event planning, fundraising or other related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent customer service, presentation, verbal/written communication and organizational skills
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in business, communications, event planning, marketing or in a related field of study
Experience working with committees
Experience with using a (CRM) customer relationship management system (e.g., Raiser\'s Edge NXT)
