Solutions Architect w/ Adobe AEM & Backbase CXP
Our client focuses on providing financing, insurance and ancillary products for customers who lease or finance cars, and they are working towards creating great experiences throughout their shopping, buying and post-purchase experiences. They have an immediate need for a Solution Architect experienced in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Backbase Customer Experience Platform (CXP). Role Summary
This individual will perform the necessary analysis and design tasks related to the development of solution architectures in alignment with the enterprise technical architecture and VCI’s business strategy. Specifically, this position will support the re-architecture and re-design of the VCI customer-facing application. The individual must remain continuously aware of business, technical, and infrastructure needs in alignment with standards and best practices. The position requires a high degree of collaboration and detailed communication across multiple teams. Role Responsibilities
Design application solutions and architectures that will enable a simpler, secure, and efficient future state that ensure adherence to business requirements and strategies as well as adherence to technology standards, best practices, enterprise architecture, and trends. Provide technical consultation, research, etc. for application development projects as needed. Participate in the evaluation and selection of standard technologies and/or products. Specifically, Backbase, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), cloud-ready applications, and native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android. Define architecture and application development principles, standards, and processes as opportunities arise. Qualifications
Seven to 10 years in IT; a minimum of 5 years as a solution or application architect including experience as a technical leader. Demonstrated architect experience includes a history of working on a variety of applications supporting a variety of business capabilities and functions with working knowledge of one or more multi-user multitasking operating system. Strong understanding of Omni-channel and multi-channel design patterns. Demonstrated experience with Backbase Customer Experience Platform (CXP). Experience in using and applying content management solutions with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Experience in designing and delivering native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android). Experience in designing cloud-ready applications. Experience with continuous automated testing and deployment techniques (CI/CD). Experience in a large financial services environment designing complex solutions is highly desirable. Experience in building and deploying REST-based services. Must possess strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to consolidate business and technical requirements and model data. Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote, often spanning multiple environments in a business area. Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs. Ability to apply innovative approaches to solving design and technical issues. Ability to design and build federated platforms facilitating SSO, Authentication, and authorization across multiple applications. Ability to demonstrate thought leadership. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the application team’s knowledge of and concern for customer requirements. Develop, maintain, communicate, and govern integration patterns. Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) and strong leadership qualities. Team player with client-oriented focus. Ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings. Ability to work unsupervised and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Required Skills
Major architecture design patterns, principles of object-oriented and service-oriented architectures including version management. Demonstrated experience with Oracle and Microsoft SqlServer databases. Working knowledge of SQL and advanced queries. Security of distributed web applications.
