About the Role: Job Description Title: Director, Wealth Benchmarks Product Management The Impact: S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI) serves the financial services industry as a leader in providing indices used for investment products and portfolio benchmarking. Our indices underpin leading Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), exchange-traded derivatives (ETDs), structured products, OTC instruments, and play a crucial role in the investment landscape. The Team:

The Product Management team oversees a diverse set of index products, including iconic benchmarks across asset classes such as the S&P 500 and iBoxx family of fixed income indices, in addition to Sector, Style, and Sustainability indices. The Product Management team sets strategic priorities to drive revenue growth. This team is integral to the S&P DJI division, providing client solutions, insights, thought leadership, and driving product strategy and financial health. The Role:

We are seeking a Director to support our Wealth Benchmark initiatives in the US and globally. This role involves product development, financial monitoring, and providing indexing and operational solutions to clients. The Director will play a key role in ensuring the commercial success of Wealth Benchmarks. Key Responsibilities: Execute product development strategy, focusing on a suite of indexing solutions designed for Wealth Management. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support new product initiatives and strategic sales efforts. Meet with current and potential clients to understand market needs and gather product innovation ideas. Own tactical execution of the product roadmap including new index development, onboarding new clients and improving operational processes. Support the business through analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (blogs, white papers, videos) Collaborate with the Research and Design team on index design. Plan and coordinate competing priorities and resources required to deliver on team objectives and key results using an AGILE framework. Identify growth opportunities and contribute towards developing a robust pipeline for expansion of existing indices and index launches. Collaborate across Product Management team members and wider internal stakeholders to support both product and global initiatives. Take direction from senior product management leadership and collaborate closely on projects with other product managers across the organization. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required, master’s degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA Charter holder status a plus 8+ years of relevant work experience Experience with model portfolios, particularly in the Wealth Management space Understanding of benchmarks and how they fit into the investment process, particularly within Asset Management and Wealth Management Familiarity with the Asset Management and Wealth Management landscape, model portfolios/portfolio theory Current or past experience working in wealth and/or investment management with a focus on portfolio construction Self-driven with strong research and innovation skills Strong multi-tasking capabilities is a must for this dynamic role that touches on every aspect of the index life-cycle Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfortable working with large datasets Excellent written and verbal communication skills; candidate will eventually deliver high quality presentations both internally and externally to clients The position requires interacting with sophisticated clients and the candidate should demonstrate ability to ask questions and advise toward client solutions Knowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Morningstar, Eikon, etc. is desirable Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to effectively influence others and gain consensus Demonstrated ability to handle steep learning curves; candidate should be very comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty S&P Global is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, military veteran status, unemployment status, or any other status protected by law.
