Job Overview:

The Human Resource Coordinator will assist in supporting the Human Resource (HR) department and perform a wide range of administrative and human resources duties and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with employee onboarding/offboarding, excellent task prioritization and execution skills, and strong technical skills to navigate the HRIS software.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks Employee Development & Performance

Facilitate the new hire process: guide new hires through the onboarding process, answer questions, and explain new hire documentation requirements Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and continuing education Distribute and process employee performance review documentation Send out WECA class schedule to project teams

Engagement

Assist in the coordination and logistics of company events (venue booking, catering, communications) Administer employee recognition logistics such as birthday/anniversary lists and distribution of rewards Serve as point of contact for managing programs such as the company "Swag Store," ensuring accurate inventory and timely fulfillment

HR Operations and Technology

Deliver front-line customer service for employee inquiries, escalating policy or sensitive matters to HR leadership Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS; ensure adherence to data entry standards Process transactions related to new hires, status changes, transfers, promotions, returns from leave, and terminations Assist with regular HRIS audits by ensuring data consistency and flagging discrepancies

Employee and Labor Relations

Conduct and document background checks and employment eligibility processes Support leave of absence administration by preparing paperwork, tracking requests, and updating records; escalate complex leave issues to HRBP/HR Manager Provide administrative support for workers' compensation claims (documentation, communication, and case file tracking) Administer DMV pull program: add/delete employee data and maintain "Drive List" accuracy under HR Manager oversight Monitor incoming calls related to absentee reporting and update attendance records accordingly Update and distribute employment poster packets in compliance with directive from HR Manager

Exit and Offboarding

Coordinate the offboarding process by preparing final paperwork and documentation, liaising with payroll for final check compliance, and scheduling exit activities Support managers in the collection of equipment and company property Assign and track completion of exit interview surveys, forwarding results to HRBP/HR Manager for analysis

Compensation:

Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee's knowledge, experience, and skill level.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment. This position may be required to travel to other office locations.

Location:

Rex Moore and affiliated offices are located throughout California and Nevada.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Human Resources standard policies, practices and procedures including new hire processing and personnel data and records management. 2+ years general HR or administrative experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with HRIS and benefits database. Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.Bi-lingual in one or more other languages a strong plus. BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, Administration, or related field preferred POSITION LEVELS:

Includes all Responsibilities and Desired Skills & Experience indicated above in Levels I and II, and the following Additional-Responsibilities

Train HR Coordinators where needed

Additional-Education and Qualification

4+ years of experience Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to identify root causes of complex HR issues and propose innovative solutions Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in problem-solving approaches

Physical Requirements:

Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information. Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information. Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time. Push, pull, lift, carry at least 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 35 pounds. Occasionally required to walk and stand for short and long periods of time. Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors. Required to use fingers and hands:type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
