The Role:
Lumens is seeking a
Human Resources Representative
to join our Sacramento-based team. We're a mid-sized e-commerce company at the forefront of modern design, and we're looking for an HR professional with a passion for people and operational excellence.
This role requires a minimum of
3 years of experience in a Human Resources environment
and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute across the full employee lifecycle. As a key member of the team, you will support a wide range of HR functions and projects, while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations in alignment with company values and culture.
Key Responsibilities: Support full recruiting cycle including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, background checks through offer letter preparation Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruiting and staffing reports Manage all employee lifecycle processes including new hire onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, terminations, and offboarding Serve as a back-up for benefits administration, general HR functions and office management functions Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience Maintain and update employee data within the HRIS (ADP WorkforceNow); generate reports and ensure data accuracy Collaborate with Payroll to support timely and accurate processing of employee data and transactions Ensure completion and compliance of all employee documentation and proper records retention (electronic and paper) Maintain and enhance HR intranet pages and employee communications via ADP WorkforceNow and SharePoint Track compliance-related training and notifications; ensure documentation and deadlines are met Respond to HR inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating as needed Support ergonomic assessment coordination and other employee well-being programs Partner with the VP of Human Resources and HR team on projects including process improvements, policy development, and company-wide initiatives Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment Familiarity with California state and federal employment laws Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and SharePoint High digital fluency and comfort with technology platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision Experience using ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred Core Characteristics:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information Collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated team player Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in problem-solving

Compensation: $54,000 - $73,000
