Position Purpose:
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Cashier, where you will play a vital role in providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Your responsibilities will include processing Checkout and/or Return transactions, and ensuring the Self-Checkout area runs smoothly. As a key member of our team, you will: Proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage. Support fellow Cashiers by expediting price checks and approving Point of Sale transactions. Provide first-level assistance for customer issues and participate in training new Cashiers. Utilize available tools to coach and develop other Cashiers, enhancing the overall team performance. A minimum of 1 year of Cashier experience is preferred for those considering a Head Cashier role.
