Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Location – Hybrid:
Santa Clara, CA (4x days onsite/1x day remote) Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field Proficiency in Python Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn) Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) Experience with NLP and large language models (LLMs) is a plus Day-to-Day:
The Data Scientist will join the Machine Learning team to support a wide range of data-driven initiatives across networking, security, and language-related use cases. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, solve complex problems, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and use visualization techniques to communicate insights Ingest, clean, preprocess, and transform data for modeling; handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies Label datasets for classification tasks and prepare data pipelines Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models including CNNs, XGBoost, Transformers, Graph ML, Time Series models, and LLMs Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models using formats such as ONNX and GGUF; apply model quantization and evaluation techniques Solve complex data challenges using critical thinking and analytical skills Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate business needs into actionable insights Seniority level
