The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #3159, located at: 5601 S 56th St., #17 Lincoln, NE 68516.
This is a full-time job with a starting pay of $16.66/hr, commensurate with relevant experience.
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the success of our retail operations. You will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about our products, and recommend effective solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for swiftly addressing any customer concerns, ensuring they are satisfied with their experience and maintaining the high visual quality of our store and products.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exemplary customer service to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
Assisting customers in person and over the phone to identify their needs and provide suitable products and services.
Building and maintaining trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Managing precise work order files and formulas.
Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as required.
Tinting and mixing products to match customer specifications.
Stocking shelves and organizing displays.
Cleaning store equipment and assisting with the loading/unloading of delivery trucks.
Maintaining organized and presentable assigned areas.
Staying informed about our product offerings and available options.
Complying with inventory control procedures.
Proposing improvements to boost sales.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
If you are a current Sherwin-Williams employee, you must have received at least a meets expectations (3) rating on your latest performance appraisal.
Completion of all mandatory HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position if you are internal to Sherwin-Williams.
Preferred qualifications include:
A high school diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.
