About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources Department in a fast-paced government contracting environment. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across a variety of HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, federal and state employment regulations, and contractual obligations. This position requires a strong ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion, professionalism, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the HR Department, including maintaining personnel files, preparing correspondence, and processing HR-related documentation. Assist with some recruitment activities, including job postings, coordinating offer letters, and supporting onboarding processes. Coordinate and process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and other employment status updates. Support benefits administration by assisting employees with inquiries, processing enrollments, and coordinating with benefit providers as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and government contracting requirements, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems. Assist with HR reporting, audits, and metrics tracking to support management decision-making. Provide day-to-day HR support to employees, addressing inquiries with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, training, and compliance. Support training initiatives and professional development programs. Other duties may apply as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 2+ years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a government contracting or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.

Wage Range:

$55,000 - $65,000

In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.
