The

EGSE Software LabVIEW Engineer

will support the

Orion Program

in

Denver, CO. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Orion Ground Software Test Set Operations team by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft. This work will involve extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications. Ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle. Work within Linux-based environments. Interface with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays. Implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces, and contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows as needed. All work shall be performed in a collaborative team environment with a focus on long-term system reliability and mission success. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED: This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information. Must have a

bachelor's degree

in the field of

engineering, computer systems,

or a related field. Must have

7+

years of recent and related work experience. Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) Certification is required. Requires the ability to apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions. WORK LOCATION: This position is located onsite. This position may require some travel. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED: All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process. DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED: All Bastion employees must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen; some contracts require participation in periodic random drug and alcohol screening programs. STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite. All of Bastion's employees must be team players. Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers. Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives. Must have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented. Must be organized with good time management skills. Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task. Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time). Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
