The Loss Control Consultant plays a critical role in assessing and mitigating risks associated with various properties and operations. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, analyzing potential hazards, and recommending strategies to minimize losses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background with experience in risk management and have experience in mining, construction, crane & rigging, and energy industries.
Employee will be able to work remote from home, but will be required to travel regionally to visit job sites.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive loss control surveys of client properties to identify potential risks and hazards.
Analyze data related to property conditions, operational practices, and safety protocols.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for risk mitigation.
Collaborate with clients to develop tailored loss control strategies that address specific concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to risk management.
Provide training and guidance to clients on effective loss prevention techniques.
Assist in underwriting processes by providing insights into risk factors associated with properties.
Requirements
Proven experience in risk management, safety, or a related field, engineering or loss control background.
Experience in Energy and related industries is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough risk analysis.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and report writing.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
