Engineering Lead Analyst Vice President role at Citi. The position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance enterprise software systems within an agile development team. Requires deep expertise in microservices architecture, .NET framework, and software engineering best practices. Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-volume, low-latency microservices for mission-critical applications, ensuring seamless integration with front ends. Drive the creation of clean, well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement comprehensive unit tests. Own the end-to-end application lifecycle, including development, integration testing, and deployment within a robust CI/CD framework. Utilize Bitbucket/GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, and BMC RLM for automated software delivery. Tune application performance and availability to meet defined SLOs/SLAs. Implement monitoring, contribute to SRE initiatives, and embed robust security measures in compliance with corporate standards. Provide production support, conduct root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions to minimize disruptions. Collaborate on resiliency and business continuity testing. Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, using tools like JIRA. Translate design concepts into functional interfaces with an understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive/adaptive designs for various devices. Ensure consistent user experiences across browsers and work with UI component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap) or building reusable components. Serve as a technology subject matter expert for stakeholders and guide firm-mandated controls, compliance initiatives, and technology roadmaps. Ensure integration of functions meets business goals; define system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements; recommend product customization for system integration. Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes. Apply knowledge of competitors, products, and services to contribute to the business. Mentor junior team members and influence engineering decisions; assess risk to safeguard Citi’s reputation and assets, adhering to laws and policies and escalating control issues as needed. Qualifications

6 to 10 years of software industry experience, including 10+ years of development experience. Experience in Financial Services or large/global environments. Ability to manage projects and communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Knowledge of design metrics, analytics, benchmarking, and related reporting to identify best practices. Analytic/diagnostic skills and ability to work in a matrix environment with virtual teams. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of projects; manage tight deadlines and changing requirements. Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Required Technical Skills & Experience

6 to 10 years of software development experience with hands-on microservices design. Strong proficiency in .NET/.NET Core, OOP, and Angular; core web technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Deep experience with MVC framework, Angular Material or similar frameworks. Understanding of microservices architecture patterns, challenges, and best practices. Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or AWS ECS). CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitHub, Artifactory) and release management tools (e.g., BMC RLM). Testing methodologies and modern JavaScript testing tools. Microsoft SQL Server; working knowledge of Oracle and MongoDB. RESTful API design principles and development experience. Job Details
