Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager & Estimator in the Stone Fabrication & Installation industry to bid and manage our projects from pre-construction to completion. This role is essential to the company’s day-to-day operations. Responsibilities
Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, coordinate project team activities, communicate changes and progress to clients and internal stakeholders, coordinate with clients to ensure site readiness, confirm and plan project schedules, handle material purchases and track inventory, review site measurements to align with contract scope and material quantities, manage shop drawings communications with clients for production approval, maintain organized office filing for all projects, and track/respond to service requests promptly. Estimating: Review construction documents for completeness, construction methods, and project scope details; prepare material takeoffs for residential and commercial projects using CAD and SketchUp; create detailed estimates for submission to potential clients; contact vendors to obtain material pricing; download and organize all project documents for new bids in designated storage locations; maintain and organize project folders for easy access and management; conduct follow-ups on bids to track project status and updates. Independent with strong organizational skills, able to manage your time and multi-task effectively. A conscientious, hard worker looking to build a long-term career. Reliable, honest, and punctual with a strong work ethic. Open to feedback and seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes. Your Approach & Experience
