This team comprises experienced project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists who ensure successful project execution. Job Description The Senior Director of Colocation Infrastructure Construction Delivery will shape the future of Oracle's data infrastructure. The role involves leading a dynamic team, overseeing complex construction projects, and inspiring innovation. Responsibilities Review and analyze complex data center construction projects for risk profiles and mitigate risks with colocation providers. Develop and implement long-term standards and strategies for data center colocation construction projects. Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals. Oversee construction oversight efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers. Analyze projects to evaluate risk profiles and inform the business of potential impacts. Integrate tenant fit-out projects with DCIB teams. Implement quality control processes to ensure construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with design teams to align construction activities with approved plans and specifications. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including colocation providers. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement. Visit project sites regularly to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality. Incorporate innovative solutions to enhance data center performance and sustainability. Required Skills Heavy knowledge of base building data center construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strategic planning skills. Technical knowledge of data center design, construction, and operational requirements. Project management expertise. Leadership and team management skills. Budget management proficiency. Risk management ability. Vendor management experience. Regulatory compliance knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center or colocation infrastructure. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and design coordination. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
