We are a growing mechanical company looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our commercial projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex mechanical solutions for construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring that all designs meet project requirements and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Use advanced software such as AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks, etc., to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical systems. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall design. Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring work is performed to a high standard and in a timely manner. Conduct tests on mechanical systems to assess functionality and efficiency, making adjustments or repairs as necessary. Provide expert advice on all aspects of mechanical engineering, including HVAC and plumbing systems. Stay up to date with developments in mechanical engineering and incorporate innovations where appropriate. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks. Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, including HVAC or plumbing systems. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus. Employment Type
