The Vice President, Paid Social will manage media planning and optimization for several of dentsu’s largest paid social clients. The main responsibilities include the following: Oversee the full adoption, strategy, and implementation of dentsu's paid social planning process. Actively participate in new business pitch work, including representing Paid Social in client presentations. Drive effective media operations integration and best practices with Media teams to ensure error-free activation. This role requires deep digital expertise in paid social, team leadership, and strong operational skills. Executive-level client management and presentation skills are essential. The position reports to the SVP, Paid Social, and manages a team of 3. It can be remote, with a preference for candidates in Chicago or New York. Additional Responsibilities: Oversee media delivery supporting dentsu's paid social value proposition. Create thought leadership on the paid social industry. Standardize briefing, planning, and optimization processes. Apply media operations best practices across accounts to ensure compliance. Support recruitment, hiring, and career development of future media leaders. Act as a Paid Social SME in pitches and for clients. Contribute to product development and overall strategy. Qualifications: 12+ years in digital media agencies, focusing on paid media. Experience managing paid social teams and contributing to senior leadership. Deep expertise in Paid Social platforms and industry trends. Proven success in social innovation and industry foresight. #LI-JK1 #LI-Hybrid The annual salary range is $113,000-$182,000, based on experience and skills.
