Overview In the role of
Pricing Strategy and Analytics Manager
working in
Chicago, IL , you will be part of the
Revenue Management Team
focused primarily on Non-Alc (on a team which also leads pricing for LATAM, Spirits and New Products). You will develop/maintain Molson Coors pricing analytic tools, assess and measure pricing opportunities, provide advanced solutions and recommendations for sales teams, inform pricing strategies, create analytic framework for pricing execution, and deliver pricing insights to the brand teams. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Management.
What You’ll Be Brewing
Develop, maintain, and train stakeholders on the full suite of pricing analytics tools to drive our revenue management strategy, including (but not limited to) price increases, P&L management (break-even), and various sales lever effectiveness
Identify opportunities for pricing-focused research, analysis and work across retail and distributor sales teams
Team up with sales partners to lead the development and dissemination of pricing guidance and guardrails
Support Region Revenue Management Teams with Non-Alc leadership, training, & development
Liaise with brand & channel teams to support new product business reviews and price-based opportunity assessment, implementation, track execution, and post-review
Leverage IRI syndicated and STR Data to optimize pricing and ROI of investments
Regularly train and retrain teams on revenue management 101 and the nuances of non-alc trade spend types
Key Ingredients
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
OR
equivalent (5+ years) progressive experience in pricing – preferably within the Consumer Products Goods industry, consulting firm, or market research company
Revenue Management experience ideally within beverage
Solid understanding of pricing economics/P&L
Knowledge of pricing and price promotion dynamics utilizing syndicated data (ACNielsen, IRI)
Excellent Microsoft (excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.) skills and good relational database management
You love a challenge – you complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
You build relationships, confidently share your opinion/expertise and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
