Overview
1st and 2nd Assistant Engineer (Licensed) Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Minimum of five (5) years working in a marine environment and experience conducting inspections, surveys and repairs onboard US Navy vessels. The 2nd Assistant Engineer should have a thorough understanding of ship operations, maintenance concepts, operating programs, and procedures. Familiar with the development of work items, drawings, analysis, cost estimates, and technical reports for ship repair projects. Experienced in the coordination of technical personnel and management of subcontractors including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), riggers, crane operators, transportation, and industrial marine trades. U.S. Citizenship required.
