Our client is an American-based nanobubble technology company with a mission to unlock the full potential of nanobubbles to enhance and protect water, food, and natural resources. Due to company growth, our client has an immediate need for an energetic, curious, and driven commercial leader to drive the company’s sales efforts with a focus on dairy, cheese, food and beverage, and municipal surface water and wastewater treatment marketplaces. You will work closely with every member of the team including executive management. You will have a voice and be responsible for delivering work that you are proud of and solving customer problems. The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role, wearing many hats and driving growth. The ideal candidate is located in Chicago, Boston, Houston or Denver. Other locations will be considered, but candidates must be located near a major airport. Responsibilities

Executing and continuing to improve upon, with the support of the company’s management and sales team, the company’s “Go-to-Market” sales strategy in the region for existing and new nanobubble generation products to the dairy, cheese, meat processing, and regional wastewater treatment marketplaces. Focusing on direct and indirect sales of the company’s nanobubble generators across the region by identifying and managing sales opportunities through the company’s commercial process. Identifying, training, managing, and occasionally terminating channel partners, where appropriate, across the region. Being an integral part of the company’s new product introductions for water/wastewater applications. Identifying and structuring relationships with strategic partners, agents, and distributors that can help the company achieve sales targets within the company’s target geographies and applications. Communicating the company’s sales and technical concepts clearly to regional EPCs/OEMs, engineering consulting firms, and targeted companies. Growing and managing the weekly pipeline using the CRM. Working with the marketing team to develop case studies and local/regional collateral to build the pipeline. Identifying and hiring additional personnel/resources to grow regional sales. Willing to travel (>50%), efficiently and economically, as required to meet job requirements (some weekend travel required). Essential skills

Cold Calling : Ability to cold call regularly on other potential customers Education requirements/skills/competencies

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Biology/Chemistry preferred, but not mandatory. 5+ years in a commercial role within the wastewater treatment markets, ideally in biological treatment applications, with experience introducing technical products or engineered solutions to customers and channel partners. Extensive experience selling oxidation treatment solutions. Experience selling solutions (flocculants, coagulants, etc) and mechanical equipment. Demonstrated ability to work with application/process engineering staff and understand risk management. An understanding of engineering issues surrounding gas transfer and water treatment and quality. Project Management: Effectively manage diverse projects and tasks towards meeting goals. Data Analysis: Track progress, analyze performance metrics, and draw insights to inform decisions. Financial Acumen: Understanding of basic financial concepts and analysis helps in evaluating deals and opportunities. Passion for the Mission: A genuine enthusiasm for the company’s mission and product is crucial for motivation and success. Compensation for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, plus UNCAPPED commissions and full benefits.
