Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least 1 year of experience managing programs.
Background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental laws, particularly European directives and regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional EHS certifications (e.g., Middelbare/Hogere Veiligheidskunde, NEBOSH).
Industry experience in warehousing, transportation, or logistics operations.
Proven ability to mentor, influence, and guide leaders and external partners toward improved EHS practices.
Strong collaboration, communication, and project management abilities.
Experience contributing to projects in diverse, international, and cross-functional settings.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and enhance Google’s EHS programs within Warehousing, Logistics, and Automation, ensuring safety, legal compliance, and continuous improvement. Monitor progress and implement corrective measures as needed.
Coordinate and engage in audits and assurance efforts to ensure vendors meet Google’s EHS and regulatory standards.
Collaborate on engineering and operational innovations to mitigate risks in supply chain functions.
Evaluate vendor-submitted incident reports, and promote organizational learning by sharing key findings and corrective actions.
Work closely with supply chain vendors to strengthen safety practices and ensure adherence to performance expectations, while regularly communicating updates and requirements with stakeholders.
