Position Summary and Job Responsibilities Position Summary BGI is seeking experienced EA-37B Pilot Instructors to support the EA-37B aircrew training program at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. These positions deliver classroom and flight instruction to USAF aircrew members using approved syllabi and mission standards. Instructors may be assigned to flying or academic-only roles. Ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge of Gulfstream G550 or EA-37B platforms, with recent instructional experience in military aviation environments. Job Responsibilities Provide academic and/or flight instruction for EA-37B aircrew members in accordance with USAF training standards. Deliver classroom instruction using approved materials and contribute to the development of lesson plans, training aids, and course content. For flying instructors, conduct in-aircraft instruction, mission rehearsal, and crew training. Serve as a subject matter expert for EA-37B operations, systems, and tactical employment. Maintain student training records, evaluate performance, and provide structured feedback. Collaborate with fellow instructors and government stakeholders to ensure training alignment and standardization. Comply with applicable safety, security, and instructional protocols throughout training delivery. Required and/or Preferred Qualifications
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills) Required MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN. Active Top Secret security clearance. Prior experience as an instructor pilot in a Gulfstream G550, C-37, or EA-37B aircraft. Minimum of 1,500 total flying hours, including at least 100 instructor hours in a Gulfstream G550, C-37, or EA-37B aircraft. Ability to pass and maintain a current FAA Class II flight physical (N/A for academic instructors). Demonstrated knowledge of military flight instruction principles, procedures, and standards. More than 2,500 total flying hours and 500 instructor hours. Qualification in the Compass Call aircraft within the last 4 years. Prior experience as a flight evaluator and/or Flying Training Unit (FTU) instructor. Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Advanced Instructor School (AIS) or equivalent.
