Nonexempt This is a management-in-training position. The Juice Bar Shift Supervisor must have the necessary confidence, commitment, and motivation to move their staff and themselves towards success. The role requires self-motivation, strong leadership and communication skills, exceptional customer service, applied empathy, and a strong sense of urgency. The incumbent should maintain high morale in the Juice Bar team, serve customers to promote repeat business, keep the Juice Bar clean and up to Bristol Farms/Lazy Acres standards, and foster a welcoming environment. Growth and expansion opportunities should be anticipated. Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities In addition to performing all required duties of a Juice Bar Clerk, the Juice Bar Shift Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of the Juice Bar department staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, assigning, directing work; staff development, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Other duties may be assigned. Specific duties include: Leads by example; models correct behavior and adherence to company policies and procedures. Uses tools provided by management to ensure department success. Performs all essential duties of a Juice Bar Clerk. Fills customer orders as requested. Prepares juice and smoothie drinks following Bristol Farms/Lazy Acres instructions and recipes. Operates a cash register following established policies and procedures. Records customer transactions accurately and processes payments per cash register procedures. Balances cash register accurately. Assists with duties and reviews work for policy compliance. Maintains knowledge of Juice Bar merchandise to educate customers and staff. Assists with ordering, receiving, and merchandising; prices merchandise using handheld scanner and verifies against purchase orders; reports discrepancies. Implements and maintains all marketing programs. Trains and develops Juice Bar staff in product knowledge, sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service. Assists with inventory management and theft/waste control; supports cleanliness and sanitation per FDA and company standards. Follows FIFO rotation, labels and dates products, and uses leftovers before opening new stock. Maintains safety and cleanliness; knows proper use of cleaning chemicals and assists staff accordingly. Supports safety compliance and assists with safety meetings and Cal/OSHA SB 198 requirements; documents meetings and seeks employee signatures as required. Enforces Customer Service policies and guides staff to deliver exceptional service; responds to guest concerns to maintain positive relations. Ensures availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts. Maintains Bristol Farms/Lazy Acres standards in service, appearance, quality, cleanliness, and leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Bristol Farms/Lazy Acres policies and applicable laws. This includes training employees, planning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving problems. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or GED; three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and group settings; must be fluent in English. Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic math including discounts, percentages, and volumes. Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving to carry out instructions; resolve conflicts to achieve win-win outcomes; analyze and solve varied situations. Physical Demands:

Stand for long periods; frequent hand use; reach, walk, talk, hear; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; lift up to 25 pounds; vision requirements; noise level is moderate to occasionally loud. Benefits
