Director of Supply Chain Operations/Materials Management for a nonprofit healthcare system in the Southeastern United States. The role focuses on driving strategic supply chain initiatives and operational excellence across a complex and growing healthcare network, including deployment of a leading-edge supply chain and procurement management system. Southeastern, US Responsibilities

Reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain 34 FTEs to include 2 Managers Manage materials management operations system-wide to ensure cost efficiency, timely availability of supplies, and support of clinical care areas for three hospitals, including the bulk warehouse and internal couriers Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards across all procurement activities Partner with department heads and key stakeholders to align supply chain/materials management strategy with clinical needs Support cross-functional initiatives to improve cost efficiency, elevate service delivery, and support clinical operations through strategic supply chain alignment Develop departmental budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality Identify gaps and variability in sourcing, purchasing, logistics, distribution, and inventory management processes Recommend and support process redesign initiatives to improve service delivery and reduce costs Foster and leverage strong vendor relationships to ensure high service levels, resolve issues quickly, enhance product value, and support long-term strategic sourcing goals aligned with organizational needs Lead, train, and coach teams within the Materials Management department, fostering collaboration, effective communication, operational effectiveness, and strong inventory control practices Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required Three+ years of related operational and leadership experience in an acute care hospital system setting Value Analysis and Purchasing experience a plus Workday or comparable ERP system experience Proven track record in healthcare supply chain/materials management leadership, preferably in a multi-site acute care setting Expertise in operations, strategic sourcing, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement This is more than a job; it is a career opportunity to grow with a team shaping the future of hospital operations in this highly regarded healthcare system.
