A CorePower Yoga Instructor delivers an extraordinary experience by providing a welcoming environment, guiding students through CPY-aligned classes, and supporting each individual's journey to live their power. Instructors cultivate supportive relationships, ensure student safety, and embody CPY core values at all times. Essential Job Duties
Teach a minimum of two (2) classes per week, totaling at least 4 hours in the studio Provide a safe space for practice by educating on alignment, offering modifications, and using CPY cueing formulas Be scheduled 30 minutes before and after classes to read communications, plan classes, and connect with students Engage with students 30 minutes prior and after classes to support personal growth and community building Welcome students, check them in, handle POS transactions, and ensure a memorable experience Perform cleaning tasks to maintain health protocols and safety standards Uphold CPY core values and foster a positive studio environment Act as an ambassador for CPY initiatives, including memberships, programming, retail, etc. Skills & Experience
Completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training, with additional continuing education as specified Current CPR/AED certification Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in computer applications Ability to lead physical activity for up to 1.5 hours and withstand heat in heated classes Ability to move comfortably around the studio and lift up to 25 lbs.
