There is also flexibility to work from their Bay Area location. As a Project Manager with this Client, you won’t just manage projects — you’ll lead complex, high-stakes operations that shape California’s coastline and protect its communities. You’ll take charge of field crew coordination, ensuring the right people and equipment are in place to get the job done safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll assess and secure specialized equipment, guide its setup and maintenance, and monitor evolving site conditions. When the unexpected happens, you’ll adapt quickly, identifying changes in scope and developing smart solutions in real time. You’ll track resources, collaborate with the team to deliver accurate, timely reporting, and seek smarter production methods to stay ahead of schedule and under budget. From the start, you’ll analyze project plans to understand timelines, budgets, staffing needs, and milestones; build work plans; mobilize the right talent for each phase; and lead project teams with clear direction, strong communication, and accountability. You’ll keep clients informed, adapt schedules as needed, and ensure the project runs smoothly, representing the client professionally with stakeholders. Experienced Leader in Civil or Marine Construction:
You bring 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in heavy civil or marine construction — or a strong combination of education and related experience. A Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management is ideal, but real-world expertise is valued. Brains & Balance:
