AdventHealth is a faith-based not-for-profit organization with a focus on whole-person well-being. AdventHealth Tampa is a 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, offering care in cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience, digestive health, orthopedics, women's services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year. AdventHealth Tampa is home to the Pepin Heart Institute and the Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, supporting cardiovascular care and clinical research.
The role you\'ll contribute:
The Team Leader supervises, coordinates and performs patient care delivery on the assigned nursing unit and meets Standards of Nursing Care for the assigned shift. Coordinates and plans shift activities to ensure standards of patient care are met. Acts as a clinical resource and role model. Participates in conducting performance appraisals for personnel on the assigned shift. The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and Florida requirements for professional nursing practice.

Graduate of a school of nursing. 1 year experience as an RN in a specialty area. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or licensure from another state with verification for Florida endorsement. Valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Benefits
