Director of Student Ministry

Dardenne Presbyterian Church is looking for a Director of Student Ministry to be part of a growing and thriving church in one of the fastest-growing parts of the country. Dardenne Presbyterian Church is in St. Charles County, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. The heartbeat of Dardenne Presbyterian Church is to engage community while representing Christ. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a team that can build an innovative and strategic plan to reach teenagers in our community. Responsibilities will include… • working with the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministry to develop a collaborative strategic plan to engage students and families within both the church and community • leading programming for middle and high school students • partnering with the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministry to lead Confirmation • helping students identify a mentor, ministry, and mission beyond student ministry that they can engage and develop as life-long learners of Christ • developing volunteers to reach teenagers with the Gospel Qualified candidates will… • have a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, affirmation of the Holy Bible as God’s Word, historical orthodox beliefs, and biblical character that exudes Christian Witness • have good relational skills with teens and adults (supervisor, elder, DPC employees, volunteers, parents, etc.), and discernment in safety and protection of students • have experience working with youth DPC offers a competitive salary, paid-vacation, stipend, retirement plan, and full-time exempt position.
