Banquet Captain - Events - On Call

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is a 1230 room property steps from Waikiki Beach, directly across from the world-famous Duke Kahanamoku Statue. Our hotel offers personalized services with the spirit of Aloha, modern amenities, cultural activities, swimming pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean, locally sourced dining specialties and on-site boutiques. We are seeking an Event Services Lead who is experienced and one of the finest of banquet servers. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $15.93 an hour. Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight. Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service.
