Director of Business Operations

About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Business Operations leader to join a rapidly growing renewable energy platform. This role is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the CEO and act as a change agent across the business. You will lead process improvement initiatives, integrate systems, and ensure seamless coordination from project origination through asset management and funds distribution. This is an opportunity for an ambitious renewable energy professional who wants to make an impact today while growing into future VP/COO-level responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Map and optimize operational processes across the solar project lifecycle: origination → financing → construction → handoff → asset management → funds distribution Identify and remove bottlenecks, implementing technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency Lead the integration of financial and operational systems (experience with NetSuite, DealCloud, BluePoint, AlsoEnergy, or similar preferred) Convert operational data into reliable, actionable financial reporting Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Development, Construction, and manage external vendors Drive change management execution: select, implement, and hand over systems and processes that scale with growth
