ABM is currently hiring a Security Coordinator to support a mission-critical operations account within our eMobility sector.
We’re seeking a proactive and highly organized Security Project Coordinator to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of security-related projects and programs. This role acts as a vital link between project managers, technical teams, and key stakeholders—ensuring that all security initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with ABM’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track progress of various different security projects and initiatives.
Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Maintain project plans, schedules, and dashboards to provide accurate status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project tasks.
Support documentation development, including project charters, meeting minutes, deviations, and status reports.
Monitor and report on project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when needed.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Support audit readiness by maintaining proper records and project documentation.
Contribute to process improvements and standardization of security project workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within security, facilities, IT, or compliance environments.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Trello).
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in security project management (physical security, access control, surveillance systems, cybersecurity, or compliance programs).
Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or similar certification.
Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors in security or technology deployments.
The salary range for this position is $118,000.00 - $128,000.00. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
