This system delights and engages users across our many PlayStation platforms, including the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, web, mobile, and beyond. You will be responsible for developing a wide engineering org and creating a productive engineering environment and levelling up your team and our capabilities. You will collaborate with business users, product managers, UX designers and other technical teams across the globe in the execution of our Monetization/Commerce objectives.Responsibilities:Leading, mentoring, and empowering a growing team of hardworking engineers to deliver against strategic business outcomesEstablishing a strong and inclusive engineering cultureAssist in the delivery of multiple projects across multiple platforms. Helping teams estimate, plan, and slice projects to frequently deliver value to production.Collaborate across business units and product teams spread over multiple timezones execute against the team's vision, strategy, and roadmap.Act as a change agent, initiating appropriate changes to support continuous business improvementComfort with proactively and independently working towards results in large, distributed team environments.Qualifications:Overall experience of at least 10 years in the software development industryAt least 3-5 years of people management experience, with experience managing multiple teams or one larger teamAble to manage, mentor, and empower teams, including other people managersProven leadership skills and a passion for building, maintaining, and deploying both internal business applications and highly available servicesStrong communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
