to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
El Segundo, California or Palmdale, California. You will be the product owner of a product team collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams, such as, Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevOps, and Systems Test, in an Agile software development environment. You will oversee and review system capabilities that resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. Essential Functions Experience with development, modification and maintain customized or standardized embedded Mission Systems applications using software engineering best practices and standards. Experience in the full life-cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance. Differentiating characteristics include demonstrated leadership, teamwork capabilities, excellent oral and written communications skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Experience in successfully improving organization AND program processes and procedures. Contingency:
Requires minimum active DoD Secret (or higher) level clearance and active program access (PAR) before start. Basic Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development. Demonstrated professional experience with an Agile Framework within the last 3 years. Demonstrated professional experience implementing software and scripts in one or more Object Oriented Programming languages: C++, scripts in C, AND/OR Python. Demonstrated professional experience with software change control, change management, and CI/CD tools such as not limited to: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and/or Atlassian tool suite. Demonstrated Professional Experience with at least one of the following Cloud technologies and service providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS) Azure, OR Google Cloud within the last 3 years. Active in-Scope, DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated professional leadership experience. Experience in software architecture. Experience with virtual machines and virtual networks: VMware, Hyper-V, VPC, NSX-T, and/or NSX-V. Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), or High-level Architecture within 3 years.
