to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
El Segundo, California or Palmdale, California. You will be the product owner of a product team collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams, such as, Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevOps, and Systems Test, in an Agile software development environment. Essential Functions The successful candidate has experience with development, modification and maintain customized or standardized embedded Mission Systems applications using software engineering best practices and standards. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development. Demonstrated professional experience with an Agile Framework within the last 3 years. Demonstrated professional experience implementing software and scripts in one or more Object Oriented Programming languages: C++, scripts in C, AND/OR Python. Demonstrated professional experience with software change control, change management, and CI/CD tools such as not limited to: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and/or Atlassian tool suite. Demonstrated Professional Experience with at least one of the following Cloud technologies and service providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS) Azure, OR Google Cloud within the last 3 years. Active in-Scope, DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated professional leadership experience. Experience in software architecture. Experience with virtual machines and virtual networks: VMware, Hyper-V, VPC, NSX-T, and/or NSX-V. Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), or High-level Architecture within 3 years. Knowledge and experience with simulated threat environments, such as, AFSIM or NGTS and Full-Motion Flight Training Systems within the last 3 years. Experience with developing software for safety critical embedded systems. Familiarity with software requirements tools such as DOORS and Rational Rhapsody Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management. Demonstrated ability to build a diverse and inclusive team with engagement Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills, and excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward). Experience leading a team of 12 employees with a record of on-time performance. Time management and organizational skills to prioritize across concurrent program and functional responsibilities. Experience with task or resource planning, development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and IFC planning.
