Join our dynamic retail team as a Customer Service Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring our customers have the best experience possible. In this position, you'll engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their queries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend effective solutions.
As a key player in our store, you will:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Assist customers both in person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
Build and maintain productive relationships with customers.
Process sales transactions accurately in compliance with company policies.
Meet and strive for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Maintain precise work order files and product formulas.
Restock items and create attractive product displays.
Manage product tinting and mixing as per customer specifications.
Load and unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries when needed.
Keep store equipment clean and areas organized for optimal presentation.
Stay informed about product offerings to guide customers effectively.
Follow inventory control procedures and suggest improvements to enhance sales.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be flexible to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have a rating of at least meets expectations on the last performance appraisal and completed all required eLearning courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
At least one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
Experience selling paint and related products is advantageous.
Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and another language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
