Retail Customer Service Specialist - Warehousing

Join our dynamic team as a Retail Customer Service Specialist, where your role is crucial to enhancing our customer experience and driving sales success. You will directly engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide solutions tailored to their requirements. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Your knowledge of product features will help maintain our store's visual and quality standards. This is a part-time opportunity with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour, allowing you the flexibility to balance work and life. Your responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction. Assisting customers in person and over the phone by identifying their needs. Building strong relationships with wholesale and retail clients. Processing sales transactions accurately and following company policies. Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining accurate records of work orders and formulas. Retrieving products from sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tinting and mixing products to customer specifications. Stocking shelves and setting up visually appealing displays. Cleaning store equipment and keeping the store organized. Loading/unloading delivery trucks and assisting with deliveries. Keeping assigned areas well-stocked and presentable. Staying informed about product offerings and discussing available options with customers. Adhering to inventory control procedures. Suggesting improvements to enhance sales. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at stores within a 15-mile radius of the Sherwin-Williams Anchorage South Store located at 401 West International Airport Rd, Suite 1A, Anchorage, AK, 99518. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion. Available to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Possessing a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Having a High School diploma or GED. One year of experience in a retail or customer service role. Experience selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
