We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing inventory processes and ensuring accurate stock records. This position plays a vital role in our operations, and your skills will help us maintain optimal inventory levels and support our supply chain. Efficiently record purchases, maintain an accurate database, and perform regular physical counts of inventory. Ensure that actual stock counts align with recorded data, pulling figures from sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to monitor inventory levels. Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts, adjusting any discrepancies, and investigate the reasons behind any mismatches, providing thorough reports on findings. Prepare insightful reports regarding inventory balances, price lists, and shortages to support informed decision-making. Coordinate with vendors and the purchasing team to strengthen supply chain relationships and improve inventory management. Assist with routine tasks such as data entry, interacting with clients, and responding to inquiries to enhance customer service. Perform any other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team. Qualifications: Proven ability to execute complex mathematical calculations and interpret reports, including receiving and shipping documents. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Ability to work under general supervision, managing moderately complex issues with a firm understanding of inventory management practices. Experience providing leadership, coaching, or mentoring to peers or subordinates is a plus. Strong understanding of related manufacturing processes. Commitment to maintain confidentiality and responsibly handle sensitive information. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capability to juggle multiple tasks and establish priorities to meet critical deadlines. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive mindset, adept at exercising sound judgment and making decisions; skilled in identifying problems and developing effective solutions. Self-driven and confident professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Able to create Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
