Bilingual Retail Associate (Spanish)

As a Bilingual Retail Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibility will be to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend effective solutions. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service while also contributing to the store's sales goals. This part-time position starts at $16.40 per hour and offers a variety of health benefits, retirement savings options, and generous time away from work. The selected candidate will primarily work at Store #3011, located at 488 West Army Trail Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188, with opportunities to assist at nearby locations. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Assist customers in person and over the phone, identifying their needs and offering suitable products and services. Build and maintain trustful relationships with wholesale and retail clients. Accurately process sales transactions and adhere to company policies. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain organized work order files and product formulas. Manage product inventory—pulling from sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to suit customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up attractive displays. Ensure store equipment is clean and well-maintained. Load and unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as required. Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing. Stay informed about products and discuss available options with customers. Comply with inventory control procedures. Propose strategies to improve sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Authorized to work without requiring employment sponsorship. Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products is a plus. Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
