HS Varsity Head Swim Coach - Oyler School

Develop and execute an effective training program to prepare student-athletes for competitive swimming. Develop and train student-athletes, monitor, motivate, supervise, and mentor them. Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training to achieve individual and team success. Responsibilities include managing game day strategies and logistics, ensuring the safety and well-being of student-athletes, working cooperatively with the School Athletic Office and CPS District Athletics Department, and checking the status of academic eligibility for all prospective student-athletes. Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes. Skills/Essential Functions

Fundraising experience. Passion and dedication to inspire student-athletes. Ability to serve as a positive role model. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Demonstrated knowledge and skills associated with the sport. TRAINING/CERTIFICATION

Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred. Successful participation in a similar activity in high school and/or college. Evidence of successful past coaching experience at the high school or college level is required. Provide a satisfactory result on a County Police Records Check, State BCII Check, and FBI Fingerprint Background Check. Possess an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupils Activity Permit (PAP). Provide proof of completion of Coaches Tool Chest (CTC) Training/Certification. CONTRACT PROVISIONS
