Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition at Zeta Global. The Director, Client Services - Programmatic is a strategic leader who guides and develops a team of programmatic client success managers to drive exceptional client outcomes. This role focuses on elevating team performance through mentorship, creative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideally, this position is hybrid and based in New York City. Responsibilities
Oversee a team of programmatic client success managers, ensuring they are strategic in execution, client communication, and campaign insights. Guide the team in aligning campaign strategies with client goals, proactively identifying growth opportunities and measurement challenges. Ensure QBRs and performance reports are strategic, insightful, and clearly articulate Zeta’s value and impact. Provide a strategic layer to key accounts, supporting the team in identifying creative solutions to complex client challenges. Collaborate with media planning teams to vet recommendations, ensuring proposals are aligned with client goals and platform realities. Coach and develop team members to think beyond standard optimizations, encouraging innovation, data-driven storytelling, and cross-channel integration. Support the resolution of complex performance issues or misaligned expectations through strategic guidance and internal alignment. Partner with internal stakeholders to raise industry limitations, platform shifts, or measurement gaps that may impact strategy and client goals. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and exceptional client service delivery. Build and maintain strong client relationships with transparency, responsiveness, and thought leadership. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in programmatic media, digital advertising, or ad tech, with a minimum of 3 years in a client-facing leadership role. Deep expertise in DSP platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or Zeta DSP), targeting capabilities, and measurement frameworks. Strong command of campaign performance metrics, troubleshooting methodologies, and optimization strategies. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex programmatic concepts into client-friendly narratives. Experience leading client conversations at the director and VP levels across verticals such as Auto, Retail, or CPG. Adept at managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and goals are met. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics dashboards; experience with verification and attribution platforms is a plus.
