Angi is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Product Manager to join our Pro Acquisition and Activation team. This team is responsible for the product-led growth motions of acquiring, activating and engaging pros, with an initial focus on self-service for solopreneurs and small businesses that will expand over time. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work on one of Angis top strategic programs, aimed to drive growth in Angis marketplace while maintaining a high bar for quality and integrity in our pro network. What youll do Be a growth leader for our pro Acquisition and Activation team, leading effectively cross-functional scrums and driving strategic and tactical initiatives to profitably grow Angis pro network and help more customers get jobs done well. Drive a hypothesis-led roadmap that connects with the overall company strategy and drives impactful business outcomes, builds momentum, and inspires passion in the engineering, designers, data analysts and researchers team youll partner with. Develop a deep understanding of all metrics in your domain so youre always making data-driven decisions and can tell compelling stories with a deep understanding of how our system works. Lead the voice of the online customer; based on quantitative, qualitative, and competitive data; regularly conducting 1-1 customer interviews or listening to them via in-product feedback loops; guiding new learning via research, usability studies, surveys, etc; and balancing business goals with a customer-first mindset. Bring feedback and expertise to UX experience design that are easy to use, and leverage UX best practices and competitive research. Work across a variety of product domains to deliver the most highly impactful customer experiences aligned with our top strategic initiatives; sometimes these domains will be outside of your product ownership area.
Who you are
4+ years of product experience leading product-led growth motions for online / self-serve customers. Ability to learn a new product area quickly by asking the right questions, diving into the data, and meticulously documenting what you learn. Deep analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data to influence key stakeholders and make compelling product decisions. Deep experience testing at scale, including partnering with data science and analytics to build new products. Strong Project Management skills so that youre able to balance a multitude of priorities and manage expectations for your team, leaders, and stakeholders. Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities. Familiarity and comfort with data, including the ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health and to make hard prioritization decisions, as well as using SQL to dive into the data directly to refine requirements, make decisions, and answer questions. Superior communication skills: You can tell a compelling story, you communicate clearly and concisely and can tailor your message to your audience. You make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. You find creative ways around blockers and always have an option for whats next and never an excuse for why you cant proceed. You inspire others to bring their A game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You dont accept because that is the way weve always done it. You can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say, that is not my job.
