Job Title: Sales Coordinator – Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton Location: Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton, 1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado 92118 The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join the Sales and Events team. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. What you will be doing

Provide assistance and support to Directors, Sales Managers and Office Manager in coordinating and disbursing information relating to sales and service. Initiate the preparation of proposals and/or contracts, using Delphi, Microsoft Word and Excel (examples include revenue calculation sheets, correspondence, internal forms, schedule of events, histories). Copy and distribution of internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, schedules and mail. Answer telephone and assist internal and external guests with requests. Email correspondence directed by managers as needed. Provide back-up assistance to Lead Coordinator; assist with Meeting Broker, Cvent, Simpleview, Starcite and other lead sources. Assist Site Experience Coordinator with VIP Room Reservations, Amenity requests, Transportation requests, Dining Reservations, Spa Reservations, Recreation Reservations, etc. and industry courtesy rates and reservations as requested by managers. Assist Sales Managers upon request to conduct site inspections with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities, as well as other hotel facilities. Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests. Coordinate VIP travel and wholesale bookings; maintain logs; work with Reservations and Front Desk to ensure VIP status is properly displayed; provide quotes for arriving guests; manage communications with travel agents and wholesalers. Maintain inventory related to VIP and wholesale programs as described under primary responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities

VIP Travel Agency and Wholesale Bookings — Coordinates Daily VIP Arrival Report and identifies VIP arrivals; generates and delivers personalized welcome letters; maintains Voucher and Guest Arrival Logs; generates and delivers individualized welcome amenity requests; works with Reservations and Front Desk on VIP status; provides detailed quotes to travel agents. Business Travel — Assists in solicitation and maintenance of BT Accounts; partners with local BT accounts; maintains rates and contract solicitation status. FAMS and Site Inspections — Assists in the development of fam/site programs; finalizes details with Site Coordinator; prepares site inspection forms for VIP clients for day and overnight stays. Trade Shows and Travel — Maintains presentation and trade show materials; assists in shipment of travel industry materials. Wholesale — Assists in processing yearly wholesale contracts with partners; ensures websites are updated; manages wholesale rate adjustments; maintains wholesale contract folders and activity logs. Miscellaneous — Processes gift cards for travel industry events; maintains Travel Agent database and GA log; conducts site inspection property tours for travel agents and wholesalers; develops relationships with accounts outside of preferred groups as applicable. Secondary Responsibilities/Additional Functions — Multitask, prioritize varied responsibilities, assist Director of Travel Industry Sales in planning itineraries, and follow up with travel agents and wholesalers.
