Assistant Corporate Controller

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established, global company in the Greater Boston area to identify an Assistant Controller to join their corporate accounting team. The Growth: With over a century of proven success, the company continues to expand, maintaining consistent revenue and EBITDA growth while investing in future market leadership. The Position: The Assistant Controller will oversee corporate accounting and financial reporting functions, including accounting policy, technical accounting, and external reporting. This is a high-visibility leadership role with exposure across the organization. Key Responsibilities Include Oversee external reporting requirements, including SEC filings Lead and mentor a corporate accounting and reporting team Drive improvements in accounting close and reporting processes Partner with internal groups including tax, treasury, and investor relations Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and evolving accounting standards Act as primary contact for internal and external auditors Contribute to areas such as acquisitions, due diligence, and purchase accounting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred 10+ years of combined public accounting and corporate experience Background in SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP expertise Prior experience working within a large, global, publicly traded environment Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) provided pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
