The Role
inPowered AI is seeking a driven and strategic
Sales Director
to join our fast-growing revenue team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the agency landscape—particularly holding companies—and a proven track record of consultative sales and long-term client relationship building. You will play a key role in introducing inPowered’s sell-side AI capabilities to new agency partners and expanding existing relationships to drive consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly revenue goals Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across holding companies, independent agencies, and direct marketers Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, designing and delivering tailored programmatic activations in collaboration with inPowered’s solutions and customer success teams Build long-term account strategies to drive sustainable growth, respond to RFPs, and support upfront media planning and buying Generate a high volume of sales activity, including calls, meetings, presentations, proposals, and client engagements Establish and maintain senior-level relationships within agencies and brands; lead campaign ideation aligned to client business objectives
Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience in digital media sales, programmatic advertising, or ad tech Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, and ad tech platforms), audience targeting, media optimization strategies, and data-driven brand storytelling Demonstrated success in consultative, solution-oriented sales Strong industry contacts and territory knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including compelling presentation abilities Ability to manage high volumes of outbound sales activity while maintaining strategic focus Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools Bachelor’s degree required
