Regional Director of Sales - New York
to lead the charge in scaling our brand with a strong understanding of the NYC market and its surrounding regions, including regional business trends and customer needs. This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to shape our growth strategy, secure major retail partnerships, and be part of a winning team. You’ll bring deep experience in CPG sales, an extensive network of big-box retail connections, and a bold, strategic approach to help us make DryWater a household name. What You’ll Do : Develop High-Impact Sales Strategy : Create and execute a sales strategy that captures our brand’s unique value proposition, setting bold, achievable revenue goals and mapping out the roadmap to reach them. Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Sales Team : Build and mentor a passionate, results-driven sales team that’s aligned with our mission and motivated to achieve big wins. Set high standards, foster a collaborative culture, and encourage growth. Drive Retail support : Leverage your existing relationships with major retailers and distributors (think Walmart, Target, Costco) to increase brand visibility and drive significant retail placement and shelf presence. Identify and Seize Market Expansion Opportunities : Continuously scan the market for new growth opportunities, ensuring that DryWater is positioned as a top-tier choice in the hydration category. Champion Customer Relationships : Build and sustain strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring our brand’s values align with the needs of each retail partner. Utilize Data to Drive Strategy : Make data-driven decisions to track performance, optimize strategies, and inform tactical adjustments for maximum impact. Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of go-to-market strategies and align sales initiatives with broader business goals. What We’re Looking For : Sales Champion : 7+ years in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the CPG industry, prefer beverage, building and executing winning sales strategies that deliver real results. Retail Relationship Maven : Extensive experience working with big-box retailers like Walmart, Target, and Costco, with established connections and a deep understanding of their sales landscapes. $1 Billion Mindset : A seasoned pro who thrives in high-stakes environments, confidently managing large retail accounts and navigating big numbers with ease. Proven history of driving substantial revenue growth, expanding market share, and consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets through strategic, data-informed decisions. Data Dynamo : Strong analytical skills with a talent for transforming insights into game-changing sales strategies. Metrics Guru : Mastery of KPIs, market trends, and performance metrics critical to sales success in the CPG sector. Tool Expert : Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales forecasting tools, and other essential software for a streamlined sales process. Relationship Builder : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to influence, negotiate, and foster lasting partnerships. Organizational Wizard : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with a cool, composed demeanor. CPG : Experience with certifications or advanced training related to CPG sales, account management, or relevant sales frameworks is a plus.
