Senior Manager Disaster Recovery and IT Resilience at a glance ...
You will develop, implement, test and maintain strategies and plans to ensure Kraft Heinz can continue or quickly resume operations after a disruption such as a major technical failure or cyberattack. The role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The role will assess risks and threats, determine scope of Disaster Recovery (DR) requirements and govern the process to ensure all in-scope applications, infrastructure, cloud solutions, etc have current, documented and tested plans. This person is also responsible for working with business leaders to define and understand their role during a disaster and fostering a culture of preparedness. The role partners with Enterprise Risk Management and Incident Response teams.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of a disaster recovery program, including policies, procedures, and plans. Conduct Business Impact Analyses to identify critical business functions and assess potential impacts of disasters as well as business requirements for RTO and RPO Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in business and Technology to ensure alignment of DR strategies with organizational objectives. Ensure coordination of DR efforts between MSPs where needed. Oversee and participate in the development, documentation, maintenance and testing of continuity, technical and application readiness plans. Clearly communicate maturity of the overall DR program and KHC readiness to respond Educate staff on emergency procedures, recovery plans, and best practices for business continuity. Convey complex topics and strategies into consumable and actionable initiatives based on respective stakeholders. Ensure backup and recovery strategies are aligned to defined RTO/RPOs. Lead and coordinate disaster recovery testing, simulations, and failover exercises across systems and platforms. Requirements
7+ years of relevant IT roles including DR, BC, infrastructure, systems or IT Security Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and disaster recovery techniques. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow 3+ years of DR or equivalent experience Experience documenting and testing DR plans in a large enterprise Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, collaborate effectively, and build strong relationships. Ability to influence others including peers, third-parties and executives Ability to quickly understand abstract technical concepts Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP) and hybrid IT environments. Strong documentation, project management, and analytical skills. Familiarity with real-world disaster recovery outages and the governance of recovery procedures for each. Hybrid role: 3 days/week in office Location: Toronto, ON or Chicago, IL We offer a competitive salary range of $118,400.00 - $148,000.00 and a performance-based bonus.
