ERM is seeking a

Consultant, Safety and Industrial Hygiene

with industry experience to play a key role in growing our Health and Safety service line. The ideal candidate will bring H&S technical capability and deep understanding of business processes to help our clients proactively address their EHS risks and challenges. This role involves supporting on a range of health and safety management projects to build a sustainable business locally, while collaborating with ERM's global technical team to share best practices across the industry. Responsibilities

Support development and implementation of Safety Management Systems and risk assessments to ensure effective risk control and regulatory compliance. Perform incident investigations, develop corrective actions, verify/validate controls, and learn from incidents. Support root cause analyses with client leadership. Support life safety programs such as control of hazardous energy, fall protection, electrical safety, machinery safety, powered industrial vehicles, materials lifting, hot work, and fire safety. Support client industrial hygiene programs, including leading qualitative and quantitative assessment of exposure risk. Assist in the development of solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues and concerns. Contribute to expanding ERM’s Safety Services business by identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and taking an active leadership role in business development with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business. Develop and manage innovative, behavior- and performance-outcome-focused approaches for clients with complex technical/regulatory issues. Design and direct corporate H&S strategies and programs in areas such as industrial hygiene, behavior-based safety, safety culture and leadership, serious injury and fatality risk reduction, compliance auditing, EHS management systems, process safety and risk management, construction safety, high-impact training, and general compliance support. Ensure delivery meets scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Manage a variety of tasks to achieve scope, budget and schedule targets while ensuring we meet and exceed client expectations on deliverables. Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by leveraging internal and external networks to solve multidisciplinary client challenges. Qualifications

BS/MS degree preferred; equivalency of additional 6+ years related experience will be considered in lieu of education. Certification in the field (e.g., CSP, CHMM, PE, or similar); CIH highly desirable. 2-4 years (5-10+ years preferred) relevant experience in safety and risk management, leadership/culture, and/or sustainable EHS compliance programs; experience in developing and delivering world-class EHS program solutions. Experience in life safety programs is required. Experience with industrial hygiene is required. Ability to work independently and in a team; adaptable, able to handle ambiguity, and responsive to safety issues in field locations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally; up to 80% travel may be required depending on client needs. Must have a valid passport. Consulting experience preferred. For the Consultant, Safety and Industrial Hygiene position, anticipated annual base pay is

$76,000 - $88,324 (USD) . Pay within the range depends on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, performance, travel, and business needs. Bonus eligibility may apply where applicable.
