Collaboration with internal and external customers and disciplined engineering practices are essential. Position Responsibilities

Design and develop tools for deploying Windows images to air-gapped systems, ensuring compatibility and reliability in offline environments Proficiency in C, C++, MFC, ATL, STL, C#, and VB languages Implement and optimize imaging workflows using tools like Symantec Ghost or similar technologies Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions for managing imaging metadata or configurations Debug, test, and validate tools to ensure performance and reliability in secure, disconnected environments Document technical designs, processes, and user guides for developed tools Stay updated on Windows programming best practices and emerging tools relevant to offline system deployments Collaborate with project management on schedules and assess impacts, risks and opportunities Communicate across teams to foster collaboration and build consensus Aid field sites in resolving software, hardware, and documentation issues related to fielded products Work under minimal and strategic direction Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 2+ years of software development/integration experience Experience in Windows programming and tool development Ability to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and drive technical execution independently Strong commitment to completing projects on schedule while ensuring first-time quality Data parsing and visualization skills to parse raw aircraft LRU data and display meaningfully Familiarity with hardware-software integration and troubleshooting with protocol analyzers, logs, and signal testers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with team members at different geographical locations Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

Level 3: 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience Understanding of industry standards and processes Experience writing testable and certifiable code with thorough documentation Familiarity with Windows System Administrator tasks, Group Policy, STIGs, firewall config, and device whitelisting Familiarity with configuring network adapters and BIOS configurations Experience with aircraft communications buses and protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553B) Proficiency in C, C++, MFC, ATL, STL, C#, and VB; MS Visual Studio, MS Azure DevOps, GIT SQL experience for database-driven applications or configuration management Familiarity with imaging tools like Symantec Ghost or similar Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a secure, air-gapped environment Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation Familiarity with Linux Avionics software development experience Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders and aircraft ground support equipment Understanding of cybersecurity best practices CompTIA Security+ certification Other Requirements
