Walnut Creek, CA, Oakland, CA, or San Jose, CA

offices. In this role, the

Construction Manager

will be responsible for managing field construction activities on heavy civil and environmental remediation projects across the Bay Area and beyond. Responsibilities

Lead Site Safety Culture and ensure strict adherence to project safety culture, regulatory compliance, schedule, and quality. Interface directly with H&A client teams, lead subcontractor engagement, and oversee all day-to-day field operational aspects from pre-construction planning through completion. Manage day-to-day construction activities, prioritize work, and ensure critical work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the Contract Requirements. Document site activities and compile Daily Field Reports (DFRs). Perform miscellaneous duties as required or assigned. Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management; no degree required with commensurate experience. 6+ years of experience working on-site at heavy civil/environmental projects with progressive experience in construction management. Proven ability to develop and use materials, services, and equipment specifications common to construction needs. Expertise in heavy civil remediation such as solidification and stabilization. Must demonstrate a commitment to safety, strong leadership skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills

Demonstrated familiarity with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Dust Monitoring Plans. Experience with environmental remediation. OSHA Competent Person Certification.
