We are partnering with a rapidly scaling, dynamic global client to create a new Director of FP&A role at their Atlanta headquarters. This is an outstanding opportunity to work for an A+ mentor, manage and strengthen a high-performing FP&A team, and support four diverse business units with both corporate and strategic FP&A initiatives. Our client is a global leader in medical device manufacturing and healthcare services, developing innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes and ensure safety across the continuum of care. The Director of FP&A will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis organization for a sizeable division, reporting to the VP of Finance. Primary responsibilities include monthly analysis for segment financials, with operational insight into performance of the underlying divisions. S/he will also partner with functional leaders in the organization as well as oversee the operating cadence for the Finance team. Essential capabilities include cross-functional collaboration and a strong executive presence. This person will be a key partner to the Leadership team and will provide leadership and mentorship to the FP&A organization. Key partner to Division leadership and corporate teams, providing financial and operational insight. Lead financial analysis of consolidated segment inclusive of P&L, free cash flow, capex and KPIs. Develop and implement a reporting framework, inclusive of budget and actuals, for Division enabling functions including Commercial, Finance, Product Line, Marketing, Human Resources, IT and Legal. Grow commercial finance capabilities. Partner with Commercial and ComOps organization to track top line growth, commercial pipeline (orders, convertible sales, backlog); develop product line profitability metrics. Develop and oversee long-term financial planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting processes. Coordinate operating rhythm for Leadership, including cadence for monthly operating reviews, ExCom and Corporate deliverables. Build out project management capabilities for key projects across Division. Manage Division FP&A team and develop finance team pipeline. Current team is comprised of four Managers and Senior Managers of FP&A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance. SAP or other ERP and planning system experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Be able to articulate three financial statements. Experience with Power BI or other advanced data analytics tools. Detail oriented and strong attention to detail. Cross-functional teamwork experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
